Teepee Rings

Along the Rim Road, overlooking North Park, Indians
(hunting party) would set up to 14 lodges on this ridge,
watching for buffalo, hunting deer & elk on the mountain.
Stones & rocks were used to hold the teepee covers
down from the winds, still visible in the background.

First Camp

Est. 1980, original fire pit location, where I set up teepee.  Met the Mountain Spirit in a dream.  Set  camp in same spot for 16 yrs. before relocating to New Camp.  Rangers, locals and other hunters respected this as my camp, named Dalton Camp after son.

New Camp  - located approx. 1/4 mile west of First Camp,
original fire pit rocks relocated to this site.
