As a Deputy Sheriff, I am aware of the need for good equipment. All of my leather work is custom made to order. (No stock items) If it's leather and I'm wearing it, chances are, I made it -- from duty holster, mag holder, OPN case, cuff case, radio holders, etc., except for my duty belt (a gift) to single action Cowboy Rigs. All are Hand Made to service Law Enforcement Officers.
Actually, I have been in some form of leather work since 1978, formerly known as Torn Leggin's Law Dawg Custom Leather. Some of my earlier work revolved around Historical Reenactments from the 1800's and is pictured, in brief, on my Rendezvous Page. As a young boy, I enjoyed going hunting and fishing with my father, and my involvement in these activities formed a natural progression toward my participation in Rendezvous, Muzzle Loading and Custom Leather work designed for these activities.
I eventually got involved with Law Enforcement Leather as the result of a break-in at my leather shop in 1996. The police officers who were investigating the break-in liked what they saw in my leather work and encouraged me to start servicing law enforcement.
I also enrolled in the Academy and started a new career as a Deputy Sheriff on August 14, 2000.
Not only do I enjoy my work serving the public as a Deputy Sheriff, but also servicing my fellow officers with quality custom leather.
I have made Duty and Off Duty Leather Gear for a variety of law enforcement agencies, to include New York and Chicago. Officers have actually flown out to Denver for a long weekend, just to have me custom make a holster for them. I have also serviced Secret Service Agents for the G-8 meetings held here in Denver.
Please take a look at the photos of some of the projects that I have completed and let me know how I can serve you.
